How to Appreciate the Little Moments in Life
•Posted on March 26 2020
I'm going to start today's blog post with a lovely quote:
"It's the little moments that make life worthwhile."
People often remember the large milestones and events in life. There can even be an expectation that you need to have lots of these big events in order to have a happy life. But really, it's the little moments that bring the most joy.
Okay, that sounds great … but how do I do notice and appreciate them more?
One way to shift your appreciation for the little moments is to make note of them. Be present during the moment. Later, make a note about the moment in a journal, a scrapbook or even on a small piece of paper. Write down anything that made you laugh out loud or brought you a moment of joy.
Finally, remember to look back and re-read these notes once in a while. Not only will they bring a smile to your face, but you'll see how the little moments really do make life worthwhile!
What little moments have made you laugh out loud?
Until my next blog post, here's wishing you lots of joy and happiness!
With lots of love,
